This is just a quick & short post to welcome our new Fainting Girls (Goats) to the farm.
New to the Farm
We're introducing our new fainting girls (goats) to the farm. So far, the girls have met their 6 Nigerian Dwarf “brothers” and the boyz (Hunter, Harley & Rusty). They have also met their sister “Olive”, but they are not quite sure about her yet. Possibly, because her first encounter with them included a lot of barking and jumping around.
They are acclimating well to their new home and we expect before long they will be outside running and jumping with their brothers. But for now, we have them separated in their own stall until they get accommodated with their new surroundings.
Here is a picture gallery of some quick pictures we took when we first brought the girls to their new home.
Expect to see more pictures of these girls over the coming days.
Summary
Our little farm just keeps on growing, and the addition of these two girls brings the count of farm animals we have now to a total of 42 animals!
- 8 goats
- 10 cows
- 2 pigs
- 16 chickens
- 6 dogs
Oh, did I mention that we have 15 more chickens arriving in 2 weeks?
We encourage you to call us and schedule a time to bring your family out and visit with the farm animals here at The Vines.
